Clinical Director, CQ Medicare Local

The role of Clinical Director is a new position created to provide management oversight of all clinical services delivered by clinicians employed by the CQML or contracted by the CQML throughout the region.  Both Divisions undertook various levels of direct clinical service delivery mainly through programs that focused on mental health issues, indigenous health and access to allied health services for people who were economically stressed or unable to access services for some reason. Funding for these programs will continue and be enhanced.  Clinical services are delivered in a range of locations including CQML leased clinic spaces, GP surgeries, Neighbourhood Centres, Indigenous Health Centres etc.
