What is the RPHS Program?

The Rural Primary Health Services (RPHS) program aims to improve access to allied health care services for those who are require a focus on prevention of long-term complications and / or may not necessarily have the opportunity to access the services of an Allied Health Professional.

What is the eligibility criteria?

  • live in either Capricorn Coast or Gladstone areas
  • and have a current diagnosis of a chronic disease (of greater than 6 months)
  • and hold a concession card (health, pension, student)
  • a GP referral is required to access this service

What is the cost?

The Capricornia Division uses RPHS funding to provide clients with up to 3 free sessions with any one provider in a 12 month period.
